Islamabad, Punjab, Pakistan.

Planning a visit, how and whereabouts.

From Lahore to Islamabad on road, the journey takes about 5 hours if you want to stop anywhere in the journey for refreshments or for a break. I recommend stopping at Bhera which is 170 km from Lahore. It has a lot of variation in restaurants, like Mcdonald's and KFC. There can be a lot of rush and a traffic jam if you are travelling on a day like Friday.

Where to have dinner? That depends on what time you reach there, if you reach at 8' o clock at night, you can have dinner at Monal which is close to Pir Sohawa.
